Victoria, British Columbia has been Judi’s home for almost 30 years. Judi’s studies and career in forestry and science, both in Canada and abroad, enabled her to blend her love of forests, plants, wildlife and the outdoors with her enthusiasm for art.
Judi notes that drawing and painting carry her away to a quiet world of solitude and joy. Her work has included pen and ink, bold graphics, Sumi, Chinese brushstroke, and acrylics. Recently, her passion for hiking, biking, and kayaking have been fused with watercolour painting, often en plein air.
